Dr Daniel Frank

Dan is originally from rural Ontario, Canada where he was raised on a cattle farm. In 2013 Dan graduated with a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Human Kinetics from the University of Guelph. During his first degree, Dan's research focused on human anatomy and physiology, which is how he discovered his passion for dentistry.

In 2014 Dan moved to Australia to study a Bachelor of Dental Surgery at James Cook University (JCU). During his degree he obtained clinical experience working in Cairns and Alice Springs, gaining experience working in rural and remote health facilities. However it was during Dan's first clinical placement in Hobart when he fell in love with Tasmania and its way of life. Tasmania felt most like home for Dan, which is why he decided to settle in Hobart after graduating from JCU.

During his spare time, Dan enjoys focusing on fitness and exploring the Tasmanian wilderness. When at home he also enjoys cooking with Tassie's fresh produce.

Dan is a kind and gentle practitioner with interests in all aspects of dentistry. He takes the greatest care in making you feel comfortable and relaxed while at the dentist. Dan is available for appointments at City Dental Hobart.
